You are better at this game if tut played baseball. But my review of the game itself is probably the best baseball game ever made it terms of balance and performance, ease of play and just over all fundamentally well made. There have been games in the past with good concepts that just never made it because the ai era wasn’t developed enough. Question? I’m curious after reading all the reviews is there any way for the developers to answer what percent of the games are real players? Nobody wants to sit and wait for long times to play so I understand playing against and ai. But I wish there was an option to play 3, 7 or 9 inning games too. It does make for fast gameplay and if you have a bad game it’s over quick. Games start in the 9th inning so unless you tie you have 3 outs to make it happen. My only complaint is that I wish there was a tournament or multi inning gameplay. There is an art to making rallies happen. Throwing someone out at home from the outfield is tough unless it’s in shallow outfield. Scoring without a runner in “scoring position” (2nd or 3rd base) is very tough.
The dev team must have really worked out the speed and of both runners and throwing to make it this realistic. My favorite part is how realistic the field to base runner timing is. You can really throw off your opponent with properly placed and timed pitches. You can still win if you select the correct pitches and time your hitting properly with a lesser lineup. Having better players or “paying to play” won’t give you an unfair advantage. I like the “trophy” ranking system like many other games that only match you with other players of similar rank. For a multiplayer online game, there’s very little lag even on the cell network. This is one of my favorite games for the iPhone. We are doing our best to make sure they are well balanced in regards to difficulty, making sure games are not too easy nor too difficult. Such computers play at a similar level to players of each league. However, if real-time players aren't available to match, players will be matched with a player-like computer instead.
